Reus cemetery offers families a range of services.
The basic services provided at the cemetery are burials, transfers of remains to other graves in the cemetery or other localities, grave concessions (temporary or provisionally rented), management of cemetery charges and the administrative procedures arising from the above
and from transfers of concessions.

Graves

All the graves in Reus cemetery are offered on the basis of a temporary concession for 99 years. The basic types of grave are the following:

• Niches.
  
  First of all there are new, unused niches which can only be acquired for immediate use. Another option is to acquire concessions of recovered niches, of which different types exist.
  Also available to whoever needs them are niches to be allocated at the time of burial on a provisional rental basis for a minimum of two years.
  
  
  
• Graves.
  
  For those who wish to be buried in the ground, it is also possible to acquire concessions for a recovered plot in the historic part, which is cheaper, or one in the newer part of the cemetery.
  



 

• Chapels.
  
  The chapels are perhaps the most distinctive resting places in Reus cemetery. They completely surround it. Once again there is the possibility of acquiring a concession for a recovered one in the historic part or a new one in the more recent part.
  
  
• Tomb for Ashes.
  
  The cemetery's newest service provides crematorium users with the option of placing urns with ashes of the deceased in a tomb located in the most prominent part of the cemetery, free of charge.
  This tomb is equipped with a device to prevent objects other than urns being placed in it, as well as obscuring the view of the interior while new urns are being put in.
  



 

• Columbaria.
  
  Those wishing to deposit urns in a manner which is not anonymous can use columbaria located in the newer extension area. Columbarium concessions are for 20 or 30 years.
  

Other Services

• Installing Windows.
  Gesfursa offers the possibility of requesting that windows be installed in niches. This service should be arranged at the funeral home offices. In any case the cemetery staff can inform the public about this option.
